Good morning, blessed ones.
I need to issue an apology for not posting lately. A lot has been going on in my life. June has absconded with my time and health. After a brief mother/daughter get away to South Carolina, I came down with the stomach flu, which has taken me about a week to recover from. I suspect I contracted it from the plane ride. Makes me reconsider wearing my mask again on those trips.
In the meantime, my middle daughter, Jessica, graduated from college and is now preparing for her upcoming wedding on June 18. She and I have also been laboriously refinishing an old kitchen table and chairs for her and Seth's new apartment, which was put on hold while I was recuperating from the flu. We just finished it last night, and the final polyacrylic goes on tonight before I head down to Indy to deliver it.
All that to say is that I have not able to do ANY writing for the past three weeks. And next week is completely focused on wedding mode and celebration.
God has been good through it all, though. I am thankful for renewed health and the time to spend this last month with my soon-to-be-married daughter. We've had some wonderful bonding times, for which I am ever grateful.
Thank you all for your patience, and once the wedding is past, I will again be able to focus on my writing ministry.
